Upcoming Restaurant "The Elephant and the Dove" to Bring Affordable Mexican Cuisine to Skaneateles

Adam Weitsman's new restaurant, The Elephant and the Dove, is set to open in mid-April in Skaneateles, New York. Located in a historic 7,500-square-foot building on Genesee St, the Mexican restaurant offers hearty portions at an affordable price, in contrast to Weitsman's other upscale restaurant, the Krebs.

Spread over three floors, The Elephant and the Dove features a DJ on Friday and Saturday nights on the main floor, a kitchen and seating on the top floor, and a private dining room on the bottom floor that can be rented for events. The restaurant's decor was designed by Thom Filicia, and the kitchen is headed by chef Albert Herrara. With take-out available at the back of the building and even across the street to customers' boats, the Elephant and the Dove offers a casual and convenient dining experience.
